The Pershing 72 is capable of 45 knots top speed when the high performance, deep vee hull, twin MTU 1823 hp engines and Arneson surface-piercing drives combine in full symphony. At dockside with mooring lines attached, the 72 conveys the impression of power and poise, and quite simply looks like it’s doing a hundred miles an hour standing still. This 72 model is a stunning vessel with pearlescent paint that appears to shift colour from silver to bronze depending on light and viewing angle.

Pershing is also about style, comfort and luxury, which are as abundantly available as the horsepower in the engine room. This new 72 model provides for a roomy floor plan, given this is a performance sport yacht. It features a 22.26 metre (73 foot) LOA, 21.67 metre (71 foot) hull length and maximum beam is just over 5.5 metres (18 foot).

On the 72 the designers have even gone so far as to have specified all furnishings to be upholstered in the ultra-exclusive Poltrona Frau leather brand, including the dual pilot helm chairs, which also feature double-electric motion adjustment to suit any driver preference, sitting or standing. Where the design of the 72 really shines is in the forward section of the saloon where the typically futuristic Pershing helm station is located, slightly offset to the right of centre, the twin electrically adjustable helm chairs sitting on a stylish storage cabinet. Located between the seats are the integrated ZF throttles and gear quadrant.

Brabus, a name that is associated with modified Mercedes-Benzes, has just announced its latest creation – the Mercedes S600 iBusiness Sedan. The S600 iBusiness package gives the two rear seats an Apple iPad each as well as a 64GB iPod touch. Both of the iPads can not only be used for work but can control the car’s audio, navigation and phone systems.

Designed to be the ultimate executive sedan, the iBusiness boasts a revised front fascia, aluminum sport fenders, aggressive side skirts with integrated lighting, a modified rear diffuser, a sport exhaust system, and Monoblock light-alloy wheels, available in sizes from 19 to 21 inches, with Pirelli or Yokohama tires.

Under the hood, Brabus has shoehorned in a twin-turbocharged 6.3-liter V12 that produces 750 horsepower and 995 pound-feet of torque, though the torque output has been electronically limited to ONLY 811 lb-ft. Hitting 62 miles per hour takes just 4.0 seconds, and with your pedal pressed firmly to the floor, you’ll hit 211 mph when all is said and done. Power is routed to the rear wheels by a five-speed automatic transmission and Brabus offers a custom limited-slip differential to maximize overall traction. It’s staggeringly quick, this iBusiness.

But, the most unique thing about Brabus Mercedes S600 iBusiness Sedan, however, is its interior.

The epicenter of the system is an ultra-small Mac minicomputer placed under the rear shelf. Connected to the system are two iPads in the rear compartment to play movies, music and Connect to the Internet and control the entire functioning of the S-Class COMAND system, which includes the radio, the telephone and the navigation system.

The entertainment system also includes a 15.2-inch TFT display set inside a headliner which is covered with Alcantara and contrasted with leather. For music, there is a 64GB Apple iPod touch, with a 14, 000+ song capacity, which is synced with either the S-Class sound system or Sennheiser Noise Gard headphones. The system also provides for USB2.0 ports in the rear compartments for connecting devices. You can dock two tablet PCs and a Bluetooth keyboard in the rear adjustable tables provided for them. The car features custom-made compartments to put away all these gadgets when not in use. A BRABUS app for iPad and iPhone to be launched shortly will also come as a part of the deal.

Dutch yacht builder Oceanco, one of the world’s finest yacht builders has build standards that no other shipyard exceeds. The company continues to push the boundaries in design, specification and sophistication. The 85.60M Y708 is the latest addition to the Oceanco fleet of unique and innovative luxury superyachts, available for delivery in 2012. Y708 has a beam of 14.20 and can cruise at a speed of up to 20 knots.

Igor Lobanov, Y708’s designer based the design on three main elements: motion, elegance and privacy. Motion is achieved by creating a feeling of layers through the introduction of a graphical configuration and sculptural movement of the surfaces. The exterior styling of the superstructure is light and dynamic giving Y708’s silhouette an elegant look. Each deck is designed in such a way so as to maximize privacy and private balconies allow guest to enjoy, independent from other guests, the view and sea breeze anytime of the day. The aft deck features a swimming pool that converts to a helipad while luxe flourishes include a sushi bar, cigar bar and library. The yacht has four guest cabins, two VIP suites and a master suite on its own deck with a salon, study, turbo jet whirlpool and wraparound balconies.

Oceanco has recently been acquired by Mohammed Al Barwani, a private investor, who is based in the Sultanate of Oman. Barwani has a deep love of the sea and has owned a variety of motoryachts. Extremely enthusiastic about his new aquasition, he says, “I see Oceanco as a great brand. In the last 27 years, Uwe Gemballa has achieved the best world-wide reputation for refining Porsche cars. Now, the company manager from Leonberg near Stuttgart takes on a new challenge. The automobile manufacturer turns the most potent super sports car from Maranello, the Ferrari Enzo, into the GEMBALLA MIG-U1 – an individually produced edition, limited to only 25 cars.

The core part of the overall makeover is the entirely re-engineered aerodynamics concept by GEMBALLA. Without any exception, the manufacturer produces all components in real carbon in order to combine lowest weight with highest material strength.

Active aerodynamics for the maximum driving experience

Owing to the active aerodynamics conception, the front spoiler lip generates an additional downthrust of up to 35 kilograms at the front axle, according to the individual position. Analogically, the flap on the newly designed rear spoiler generates even up to 85 kilograms more downthrust on the rear wheels. For optimal handling results, the flap lowers, as soon as the car reaches a speed of 120 km/h. In this way, the GEMBALLA-aerodynamics concept adjusts to the outer conditions and always ensures perfect road holding characteristics. All components of the aerodynamics kit attribute to this: starting from the new front skirt with spoiler lip, over the door extensions to the diffuser and rear spoiler.

The air duct system of the GEMBALLA MIG-U1 does not only help bringing the power of the twelve-cylinder car onto the road. At the same time, the engineers from Leonberg (Baden-Württemberg) develop an extensive ventilation- and cooling concept. Here, both the front and the back wheel-houses are supplied with cooling air and this guarantees an optimal use of the high performance braking system. The outlets behind the wheels ensure that the heated air does not pile up. Moreover, the air inlets behind the doors and on the roof supply fresh air into engine compartment behind the passenger cabin. The newly designed air exhaust ducts end in and on top of the rear skirt. Their dimensions also allow the supply of an additional radiator.

The GEMBALLA car body components therefore guarantee the functionality of the new super sports car and provide the car with a unique look at the same time. Following the design of Formula-1 racing cars, the GEMBALLA MIG-U1 has an extended front and an edged rear spoiler. Formerly rounded edges were replaced in order to provide the car with an aggressive look with greedy air inlets and outlets.

Even the rear lights do not remain openly on the back, but are cased and equipped with air ducts. The MIG-U1 grows broader by 80 millimetres at the front- and 100 millimetres at the back axle.

For everyday use, the optional electro-hydraulic height-adjustment (HLS) is extremely innovative and enormously helpful. By pushing a button in the passenger compartment, it is possible to lift the body by 45 millimetres at the front- and rear axle and therefore allows driving over obstacles such as underground car park entrances and traffic ramps. Also by pushing a button or by reaching 80 km/h, the MIG-U1 lowers itself to its original level. Additionally, the multiple adjustable sports suspension which is equipped with ball bearing bushes significantly improves the handling and driving comfort of the MIG-U1.

The forged wheels GEMBALLA GTR RACING forged by our development partner “Advanced Structural Alloys” contribute both to the appearance and the performance of the car. The wheels which are made from a massive light alloy block combined highest stability with an extremely light weight. The elaborate forging process reduces the unsprung masses of one wheel set by 16 kilograms. Therefore, the wheels respond in an even more agile way and precisely follow every steering command even under highest strains. At the front, the 10×19 inch rims hold high-performance wheels in the dimension 265/35, while the back axle transfers the power of the engine through 13×20 inch rims with 335/30 wheels.

The twelve cylinder engine of the GEMBALLA MIG-U1 works with an optimised motor management and an especially adjusted exhaust system. This combination allows a performance output of 700 hp (515 kW). The four-pipe system with pneumatic flap control is added to the sports catalyser. The end-pipes are equipped with the typical GEMBALLA heat shield and share the exit into the rear skirt with the exhaust ducts of the rear wheel houses.

High-End for the Interior

In the interior, GEMBALLA devises a control centre which perfectly combines functionality and comfort. The especially for the GEMBALLA MIG-U1 designed seats, the custom-made centre console and the sports steering wheel with its leather-ultra suede combination guarantee full control over the car. At the same time, the interior of this super sports car reflects pure luxury. All interior components are lined with leather and ultra suede. The integrated high-end multimedia system offers a seven-inch touch screen, navigation, DVD changer and an iPod connection. The 950-Watt amplifier operates the high frequency ranges in the cockpit front, the 165 millimetre large membrane on the door linings and the subwoofer between the seats. GEMBALLA-logos on the seats, the floor mats and the safety belts perfect the refinement.

With the GEMBALLA MIG-U1, the automobile manufacturer once again proves that its know-how is not only limited to Porsche cars. On the basis of the already exhilarating Ferrari Enzo, the engineers developed a unique car. But even the limited edition with only 25 cars is not exclusive enough for GEMBALLA. Therefore, every single GEMBALLA MIG-U1 is individually adjusted. This ensures that there will not be any identical cars. Therefore, the specialist with its reputation for unique high-end refinement once again meets the requirements for highest individuality.

The Pershing 115 is all about elegant Italian style, class plus performance, and a totally indulgent comfort realm during the night or day. As for performance, the Pershing 115 is available in two versions – fast, and faster. The first features twin diesel MTUs with a total of 7,400 hp, combined with KaMeWa Rolls Royce waterjet drives, which offers speeds up to 43 knots. The second option uses the same diesels plus a 5,100 hp Textron Lycoming turbine – for a total 12,500 hp – which pushes the 115-footer to max out at 55 knots. That equals a Gulfstream crossing – Miami to Bimini – in less than one hour. Clearly astonishing for a yacht this size.
